JOB OPENING:
Sales Associate Director
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the Sales Team, consisting of Planners and Coordinators, to drive event sales in all of 1-Group outlets
Responsible in bringing in new events including Weddings, Solemnizations, Corporate events and large Social events
Develop product offerings, maintain relationships with VIP clients
Engage with potential collaborations and partnerships to drive sales and improve sales activities
Strategize and manage a team to drive sales revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction
Train and manage a team of Wedding Planners, Coordinators and/or managers
Monitor sales activity to ensure contracts and proposals issued in a timely manner
Instill and ensure a professional system of management, forecasting, scheduling, reporting, execution and improvement
Ensure the sales department works closely with other departments to improve inter-departmental processes and SOPs
Ensure all events sold and executed are completed smoothly and take initiatives to resolve any problems that might occur.
Conduct pre and post event evaluations and report on outcome to ensure the highest level of outcome.
Job Requirements:
Diploma with at least 5-6 years of relevant experience in Hospitality, F&B or Corporate Events / Wedding planning industry
Customer-focused individual with a solid sales track record preferably in a related industry;
Possess lots of drive and is highly motivational and inspirational, eager to ensure the team exceed sales targets;
Possess strong interpersonal skill, result-oriented, with strong planning and organizational skills;
Able to multi-task and thrive within a fast-paced and highly challenging environment;
Strong analytical and negotiation skills;
Possess good leadership qualities at all times.
A team player with excellent problem-solving abilities
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Candidates with a marketing background will be an added advantage.
